Coby, my first reaction, honest and immature, is that I am sick of Doctors. And the AVOIDABLE Big Damage they do while they're curing you.

Up to here, man. Up to here.

Don't want to talk about it.

Would rather think or talk about something else, if I can get the energy. "Bastards" is right; at a minimum; I just can't think about it anymore yet. Shock, and Anger, and I don't like to be there.

Want to think about kitties and flowers instead. Hee hee. Yah. Kitties and flowers.

CB,

Lot of talk about Celebrex on the Monsanto thread.

Are you going to try it for the RA?

Tom

Man, you two won't leave this prednisone alone. I had to take high doses of the stuff for around two years when I was 10. I guess I was somewhat of a guinea pig for the treatment of nephrosis, which essentially means my kidneys shut down. It's not uncommon for fair-colored asthmatics. I was kind of ill by the time they diagnosed it. I was swelling up from the fluid my kidneys weren't processing. I was delerious for several days, even have vague memories of out of the body experiences. I was in the Ft Belvoir hospital for six weeks, I was pumped full of cortisone and anti-biotics and I swelled up about twice my normal size from the drugs. I didn't care for that at all.

I can recall some euphoric effects from the drug, but mostly I remember the black depression that I lived with the last year I took it. I had terrible nightmares. And very bad headaches, some that surely were migraine intensity. Of course, no one warned me that the drug could have these effects, and I didn't know what was going on because I was just a boy. At times I thought I was surely going mad.
