Pat: I am told that ERICY's new thin set phone covers VOIP,E-mail and paging that most users want. With E-Mail converted to voice you do not need a screen.

NTL/MOT may be the best in the data field.

Pat, if you are noodling around in wireless and wondering how to get E mail while on the road, take a minute to look at Research In Motion, RIMM on Nasdaq or RIM.TO. As a low end approach to just the essentials it looks to me like a neat bridging step.
