Around 6 months ago a major business magazine labeled the board of directors of AMD among the 5 worst in the country. Since that time, the board may have moved to the top of that list.

Is AMD transitioning the K6-3 to 0.18 micron? I heard that Dresden is going to manufacture copper-based 0.18 micron K7 from the start.

If not, then I fail to see how a K7 can compete against a Celeron in the low-end if the K7 is going to be crazy expensive to make compared to Celeron. (Please, guys, no more "die size is directly proportional to the entire cost" argument again.)
