Politics does, indeed, move through vote trading and compromise. Nevertheless, many politicians have goals, right or wrong, and politics is merely a means to move the ball forward. With only a couple of exceptions, it has seemed to many on both the Right and Left that Clinton is an extreme example of the mere careerist politician. And those exceptions were generally believed to be Hillary's contribution to the agenda.

Just speaking for myself, I will not stop hating the guy until he stops trying to deceive me. His permission to serve as my representative is underwritten by the trust of the citizens of the USA. Simple breach of contract. Sure other cons are trying to succeed at politics. This is the only one I can't shake as my representative. He's lying to me and cheating me and using all of us to enable it's continuance. He hasn't stopped and I doubt that he ever will. I object and until he stops, I will not stop objecting.
