The spin off. Myself like a lot of others have "assumed" that the spin off would result in an IPO. It does not have to. What if (for sake of putting out a name) MSFT who said today they want to buy internet companies to beef up their msn, offered X shares of their stock for every share of IDT as a purchase price for the venture? That would solve the 'big' partner issue and spin off. No IPO at all. We just get shares of another company. Comments please.
Thanks,
