Phil,

4 to 5 years makes sense, given that the current operations support systems interfaces, and the interface standards being used at the customer site and at the head end, cannot support multiple network administrators at the physical and data link layers. Dave Horne, correct me here if I am mistaken... Thanks.

Do you think that Armstrong's suggestion that T will open cable (in due time) is partly legal maneuvering to position T is its rumoured legal moves to keep Bell Atlantic from competing with it in the New England LD market? Not directly related in the business end, but legally it might be hard for them to make that argument while giving the appearance of establishing a cable/internet monopoly.
