Tenchusatsu,

As a youngster relative to all of us, you seem to have better understanding of the formidable challenges that AMD is facing than oldtimers like Hutch, Petz, Maxwell, Bill, Ali, Dan, Greg, Kenith, etc. What is your opinion and analysis on this Intel/ADI alliance? Is this an attempt for Intel to improve the MMX unit? Obviously, being the first to incorporate a powerful DSP into the existing processor would have a lot of advantage over the competitors. What can AMD do to counter this move? Who can AMD partner with? Who would want ot partner with AMD to bring the DSP technology into the processors?

<The K7 doesn't nothing specific regarding video graphics>.

I thought the dual floating point execution was for specifically improving the bottleneckt requirements of simultaneously doing 3D simulation with 3D display. I do not know much about this, but wouldn't that include games?
