NEW ORLEANS, LA. (Feb. 9) BUSINESS WIRE -Feb. 8, 1999--Wireless 1999 (CTIA) Motorola Computer Group Monday announced that they are demonstrating several telecom platforms at Wireless 1999 (CTIA) in New Orleans, Feb. 8-10.

The demonstrations will be in cooperation with MCG's telecom partners ADC Telecommunications, Excel Switching Corp. and Natural MicroSystems Corp. Advanced Fault Tolerant Short Message Service Platform Demonstration ADC Telecommunications Booth No. 4847

ADC NewNet Inc. and the Motorola Computer will demonstrate a fault tolerant system platform for advanced wireless short messaging services. This platform combines NewNet's SMserverTM with Motorola's fault tolerant and NEBS-compliant FX Series to offer highly reliable short messaging services that exceed 99.999 percent availability. Deployments of the platform started in the fourth quarter of 1998.
