I wish I shared your optimism regarding that article. On the one hand, it does appear that as a sector, things are looking good - when mainstream conglomerates start talking about being "into" online gaming it makes the whole thing seem less risky. But, as far as it being "cheaper [for Microsoft] to buy software than to invest R & D developing it" I think that expense as a concept is irrelevant to Microsoft and they could probably find someone at their company capable of writing their own software. That leaves the only advantage to SNMM being our "headstart" in the area in attaining market share. Since to maintain this headstart is dependent on customer loyalty to their chosen casino, and switching casino's is a mouseclick away, I can't be as optimistic as you are.
