CBC this morning on their techie piece was demonstrating the 3COM Palmpilot, Palm III X and the mid-year release of the Palm VII. In brief, they said the following: . 3COM palm pilots and Palm III were selling like hotcakes . The price had dropped by 50% over the last week . The Palm III X to be released in June/July will have a MSRP of $800 but that price is expected to drop by mid-2000. It will be a wireless device capable of receiving and transmitting RF data. The review was excellent. The two hosts were in a battle to gain possession of the Palm VII. Bottom line: Every Tom, Dick and Harry will want one of these devices. Not only that, but IBM is a reseller of the 3COM device. Check out www.IBM.com. 3COM has a winner in their hands if they can make this wireless device cheap enough....$300 - $400. P.S IBM rumour buying out 3COM for $70/share re-appeared in the latest "Wallstreet Daily" newsletter down here in S. Florida. I am buying in at the $31 1/2 level based on sound fundamentals and low stock price.

Sorry...meant to write CBS news in last post demonstrated the 3COM products this morning.....it's almost like interest in this product is similar to FURBIE....only for the busy adult.
