Ron,

Have you so quickly forgotten Waco? What about the union busting earlier this century when our own soldiers murdered US citizens? The US government has a long history of exercising its might upon its own citizens. I have personally witnessed Ron Reagan ordering gestapo like tactics on unarmed men and their wives in California in the early 70s. The press did not even report the brutality as County Sheriffs and CHPs beat unarmed civilians to the ground with clubs. What was their crime? Peacefully blocking a public road while on strike. The JM factory was violating the "non-scab" agreement so rather than enforce civil law, Ronny felt justified in beating the law abiding citizens rather than the lawbreaking corporation!

<<Call me a bit touchy when people start loosely implying the US military is training to enslave its own citizens. I know what these guys have to go through in their training, and the missions their gov't sends them on to parts unknown (or untold). >>

Should I also mention Ruby Ridge? While I can not abide the biggoted views of Randy Weaver, should he have been entraped for them? His racist views were of a "non-violent" nature. More over, should his wife, & son, (and even dog) have been murdered for the "sins of the father" and husband?

He only wished to be left alone and be away from "them".
