the problem i have is the analysts don't even do analysis. they are glorified used car salesman... stock pimps.

Mike, that was a GREAT call on MB's part. No doubt about it. But imagine how happy he'd be if instead he'd bought calls on DELL or MSFT <ggg>.

There is no question that analysts "tend" to hype. But I don't think they "always" do anything. Kurlak certainly didn't err on the side of optimism, and I seem to recall some analyst putting an outright "sell" on DELL awhile back. If I check Yahoo now, that SELL is now gone. Sometimes it just pays to go with the herd.
