Keep an open mind on ARCA. I like it in a twitchy market where a stock is jumping around a lot. ISLD will kill your order in this situation but ARCA will usually fill you because of panic sellers.

I think even on that one the order filled partially and then hung and I had to enter it again.

Are you saying that the market moved away and you entered a new order for the reminder at a different price?

this is what i am guessing, but something about your wording makes me suspicious that you meant something else.
