Easy...The local sheriff asked the BATF if they would like him to arrest Koresh when he came to the post office(which he did on a daily basis). The BATF declined. This was way before the standoff ever began. Did you see his extensive interview on TV? The sheriff actually spoke favorably of Koresh. He thought of him as a freindly neighbor(a kooky one no doubt). He often spoke to him on his daily visits to town. This leads me to believe that the feds were gunnin' for a confrontation, sice they declined the easy way out.

No other way one can look at it, and they should be in prison. Worst of all, the are still in power. Can you(in any way) justify this? The same ones did it at Waco & again at Ruby Ridge. Just three weeks ago, a gun shop owner was gunned down in his place of business by ATF agents. NO-KNOCK?
