Ron,

<<How about doing the same with Eric Rudolph down in N. Carolina?>>
Why not? He is innocent until proven guilty. There are many proven guilty murders running free on the streets and the Feds just give lip service to catching them. Eventually, he will be picked up if allowed to roam free. The Feds want to make an example of him because heis suspected of bombing an abortion clinic and it is extremely politically correct for Clinton to support that agenda.

<<Why not just leave EVERY armed individual who has shot and killed Federal law enforcement
personnel (or civilians for the mattter) to their own devices rather than risk their being injured or
injuring innocents.>>
What's the connection with Eric Rudolph? There is no logic in connectiong this statement withn him.

<<Next time someone takes a hostage.. just leave them be and eventually they'll go away or turn
themselves in without hurting that person (who happens to be a witness who could testify against
them).>>
If you are referring to Koresh, he had no hostages.

<<Here I am the FBI agent in charge and I have 4 dead BATF agents on my hands.>>
Maybe you should resign for being such a screw-up.

<<I'll tell you exactly what I would have done had I been inside the compound. I would have tossed
down my weapon and came out in a very visible manner with cameras on me. Why? Because shooting
at a cop is the surest way to get yourself dead, or locked away for a very long time.>>
I agree with you on this point. However, you asked me what the Feds would do. However, I think the trust level with Koresh and the Feds probably disappeared after the Feds attacked them the first time. I wouldn't want to be put in either position.

Ron,

In the case of Randy Weaver, here you had a guy WITH NO CRIMINAL RECORD who was accosted by federal agents who lied to him about the legal length allowed for sawed off shotguns and when he cut a few for the entrapping agents, they blackmailed him with threats to imprison him and harrass his family if he didn't spy on other US citizens.

This dispicable behavior by our government didn't end there as Federal agents opened fire on his son, killing the boy, then sniped his wife through a front door window who was holding a child in her arms at the time. US courts ruled in favor of Weaver and awarded him a large sum of money, which was really an insult considering what he lost in the incident. Weaver was never convicted because his laywer was able to uncover a long string of lies, tampering with evidence, and other wrongdoing on the part of the Govt. Agencies involved. Jackbooted thugs? Yes.

<<Btw, I didn't see too much humility from David Koresh and his cohorts as they fired their automatic weapons at law enforcement officers raiding their place.<<

It is not certain who fired first. The Davidians say that the BATF did-- they killed all the PENNED UP DOGS.

If someone was firing on me I would fire back.

You would roll over and die.

Since when was it a crime to defend yourself?

You are unreal in your statist thinking and obviously have an agenda.

So, Ron, what was your involvement in that fiasco? You mentioned one time that you were involved in an indirect way.

You are scaring me Ron-- if the NG has your attitude......
