OFF TOPIC: Pennies from Heaven, Losses from Hell!

Monty speaks with great wisdom! I fall into the category of people looking for a "quick buck". I also have been involved in enough of these to know that it's like the old saying "always darkest before the dawn". So.....I'm kind of stuck here against my will, but have the reassurance that if these guys are any good at all, the downside is limited.

Right now I am sitting on 6 different pennies that are down, and a NASD stock that is worth pennies on the dollar of what I paid for it (they went belly up, and moved to the OTCBB).

It would be tempting to dump the whole sordid lot and start over, but experience tells me of the 6 pennies, at least one is liable to rebound enough to cover the losses on the other 5. Right now I am betting on MVEE. It doesn't make a lot of sense, and it's not really "investing", but I didn't make the rules of the game, I just try to catch a few crumbs that fall off the table.

One penny stock I owned last year (KANA) brought me 400% in a bit more than a month. I bought it at 5 cents, and sold at 20, it has since been over 1.5 dollars a share. I did well, the reason I did not hold it is because I thought (and still think) the stock was overpriced at 20 cents, and for a company that claimed to be a "web designer" their own page looked like something my kid could do in 20 minutes with FrontPage, and the "internet book" idea sounded (and sounds) lame as hell!

I have no such reservations about MVEE....if the movie is any good, it's money in the bank, if it's bad, well, an enormous sucking sound will be heard as the "little guy" tries to get out, probably at a horrendous loss....I won't be one of them though, cheaper to keep her and maybe the tides will turn, stranger things have happened!

Best of Luck to you Sir!
