Penni; I don't know how you do it but you seem to be saying a lot of the things I would like to say. <G> Yes, DAR is recess, and a refreshing one at taht. Here I don't have to worry if I are taken seriously, or with a grain of salt. Just don't ignor me <G> --------------- I see some corage in your post, and being I'm such a coward I will if you don't mind borrow some. Here is part of a post I was going to keep privet. Have you considered, That the art and the principle of hood winking is taught and practiced as if it's some sort of virtue among many male fraternities ? It's even incorporated in the initiation rights to the plebe. Then on and on it goes, your not allowed into certain inner loops until your mentors have a way of holding something over your head. The having a girl on the side is an implied or implicit understanding that is passed on to them who want to climb the ladder or get in bed with those persons they think can advance their status. The rituals are sick but they are there. To me it seems our system is more hegemonic than democratic and it's built around Fraterity ties that wish to keep it that way. There is a sort of old Greek type male chauvinism that hides behind the curtains and it gives ground very slowly. Maybe I'm all wet about taht , but what the heck can you expect from an 8th grade drop out. <G> Jim
