Bill you are asking the "tuff" questions this morning.(:>) But we are talking money aren't we? I can't answer the first question other than the fact that any responsible dentist that doesn't advise a patient that they can have a non-surgical treatment that shows an 85% effective rate in curing their periodontal problem is a doctor that would lose my business. I would think also that a dentist would charge a comparable rate for this service to make up for the difference in fees. As this treatment becomes known more by the public, I think it will be demanded by the patients. I sure as heck would. As for the 85% cure rate, I will have to double check this number but I'm sure this is the effective rate for this treatment. The benefit is that the drug is delivered directly to the problem area in a timed released delivery for prolonged treatment.
