Michael, please detail the complaints especially your reference to buggy software. Your description of the focus group reaction is troubling to me as I have all along banked upon the product to carry the company. When customers don't like a product but are resigned to use it because there's nothing currently better they will not be loyal when something comparable-even less comparable-comes to market. I'm all ears.

Michael...thanks, good post. Were there any representatives of General Magic there? Was there any indication of how well Portico is doing in the marketplace? It seems clear to me that Portico is not exactly setting the world on fire, or capturing the imagination of the using public. Can you add more?

Michael, I have been using Portico since August, so I, as well, am interested in your experience. The only two areas of frustration I have found are sometimes with my newspaper and within my Outlook synch as it pertains to my appointments since I am on the East Coast. I have a friend who uses ACT!, and Portico had a tougher time synching with it than Outlook.

All in all I have been quite pleased with her. Maybe Kurt Goebel can add some thoughts since he uses Portico as well. Btw, we both use it with our Nextel i1000's. The paging works well with it.

The only problem is I keep having to change my stock notification alerts in the wrong direction lately!
