You're spinning this in a negative way for some unknown reason. You are not required to make this floppy disk. It's strictly a feature of the software for your convenience. If you think that you're never going to lose your voice, or that your hardrive will never fail and lose your voiceprint, don't make the damn disk. This technology is a tool like any other. In this technology realm a product has to juggle security, privacy, and convenience. SAFtylatch does it very well!
