Toy, This stock is going up to 200 by late March or early April.
Hey, T2, Toy has been "badmouthing" MSFT on this thread Since March of last year, and since then it has doubled. Behind a great stock like MSFT, there is always a guy like Toy, mouth open, shaking his head in disbelief. Or, as we used to say in the Army, "There is always one yard bird that doesn't get the word"!

Sorry Tech. I dont agree, but I guess that we will both find out by April. Considering the stock will split in March, $200 is a real aggressive target. Even if it doesnt split, I cant see it.

BTW - when is the DOJ/MSFT trial expected to be concluded? I heard late spring - like May/June. Anyone heard any estimates.

I think that MSFT will start quietly and gently leaking out the news that Windows2000 has major problems that will continue to delay its release. The news that Active Directory will need major rework with possible Banyan core technology assistance would also not be a big surprise. And the press (who already are smelling blood on MSFT) will start broadcasting it to the industry that waiting for MSFT to get their act together is not a wise move anymore.

Then the Y2K clamp will start in summer and I think it will dent MSFT who has no major release of OS / SOS code this year and the sucker - oops I mean MSFT loyal customers are starting to get real restless.

I personally have had two high level meetings with large MSFT loyal accounts (financial and insurance firms) that are asking how they could pilot NDS for their directory since they are now believing that waiting for MSFT in Directory Services would be a BIG mistake. We have begun our pilot planning phase of NDS deployment in their NDS environment.

This is jst a small set of examples of the beginning of a bigger trend.

So Tech2000, we will see how MSFT stock goes over the next few months to a year. Maybe your right over the very short term, but maybe not.
