I asked: "If I ask what happens to a fetus's soul, is that so sacrilegious?" Your responded: "I answered that question. The job of judging souls is taken. My speculation on yours, mine, or anothers is out of line." Most religious faith is based on a belief system. When we deal with faith, we don't deal with science or fact, we deal with faith that what has been preached for thousands of years, and what is in the bible is, indeed, the word of God. The question of fetal souls is an important one. It is not playing word twisting games, as you so call it. I am sorry if it offends you if I ask questions about your beliefs. I realize that a lot is based on unquestioning faith. If you really believe in Heaven and you really believe in a soul, and you really believe that a fetus has a soul, then the question of what happens to a fetal soul or baby soul, upon death, is very important. You call my question a setup, transparent, phony and does not qualify as a sincere question. That is because, if you believe a fetus has a soul, and a fetus dies, then if the soul goes to Heaven, for eternal ecstasy, I can say that abortion may have a possibly unintended positive result, in addition to allowing a woman control over her reproductive choice. That is why you call my question a setup. You say that we should not speculate on what happens to a fetus or baby soul after death. That, my friend, is a crock! We are stuck with a paradox, which you are reluctant to deal with. If a fetal soul or a baby soul does not go to Heaven, then what are the alternatives? You are extremely opposed to abortion, but when questioned about your basic beliefs you answer me with a barrage of insults and call me your enemy. This is what scares me about religious fundamentalism, and it is one of the reasons I am so supportive of President Clinton and the Democratic Party. I used to be a registered Republican. The powerful religious fringe of the Republican Party exerts far more influence than the base of people that they represent. I await your answer and your next barrage of hateful insults.
