North's estimate of U.S. Mint capacity/ceiling. Not sure if he's alluding to the Mint's maximum production capacity or ceiling that the Mint is willing to produce without entering the bullion market to cover shortages.

"Maxed out, the Mint can produce a less than 4 million ounces of
gold coins a year -- more like 3.2 million. The Mint started
rationing coins last week."

pandas are not a bargain....you pay a large premium as they come as proofs...IMHO maple leaf is still the best.
