One question I have is that the $5.4 billion figure has been kicking around for some time. Why did the stock wait until just the last 72 or os hours to make the big plunge? You would think that have already been fixed into the stock price.

Market share is relatively unimportant when margins vary as widely as they do in PC's. What is most important is MVA and Dell has the best in the world on that criterion. Not bad for a boxmaker.
