I also think that the volatility of the last week may settle down going into exp. week. MMs can't afford big swings with short time to go IMO.

I was on www.cboe.com today...looking at their volatility tables. There must be lots of ways of getting volatility on plays you are considering. Do any options players use a stocks Beta?? I've forgotten the formula...but it's related to the standard deviation, and measures basically the variability, which is essentially volatility. anyone clarify?
