I agree that the curent oil depression will be much shorter than the 1980s experience. But could still last awhile unless OPEC does something next month. If OPEC bombs out again, I see the OSX staying in a very depressed trading range (42-45 to 50-55) until the fall Perhaps when people like Slider stop expecting a quick 30-40% jump the stage will finally be set for a sustainable upmove. The major OSX trend does not turn on a dime, and a basing period may be needed before the next OSX bull can develop.
