RE: I beg to differ and solve the problem by buying products from other vendors. "

Hmmm. If you are doing Windows dev, then it is INPR or MSFT. So, in spite of your constant MSFT bashing, you really are a VB programmer in Java drag. BTW: Check out the MSFT forums. It seems that MSDev 6.0 is seriously unstable.

There are more and better opportunities out there, however, I'm not saying INPR isn't going up, I don't know and I don't care to gamble given what I perceive as the limited upside of an incompetent company with sub-par products in a saturated market.

Dude, you must have slept during your grammar and composition classes. That is one of the most heinous run-on sentences I have ever encountered. I nearly passed out trying to read it.

I think VB is a darn good tool now and it only took 10 years, 10 billion dollars and runs on computers that are 10 times more powerful.

I think that pretty much says it. VB is your tool of choice?

I use the VC++ environment, too.

I see. Rod, have you EVEN USED BCB or DELPHI in any significant way? You have been extremely critical of it and other Borland products, but it is clear you are committed to using the trash Microsoft is selling as "software tools". Come on, VB? I was sure you'd be using a tool for grownups. BASIC. You remember what that "B" stands for .... certainly you can't fit into THAT category...
