I2, what I am playing with is a little different than bollinger bands in that it also takes into account the price volatility - Average True Range.

ATR - Welles Wilder, creator of True Range, states True Range "is [when describing volatility] the maximum range that price has moved, either during the day or from yesterday's close to the extreme point reached during the day." Hence, Average True Range gives a measure of volatility over a specified time period.


It just seems to make sense to look at more than just closing price as part of the analysis. Anyways, still working with it...

I'll see if I can post a chart somewhere for folks to look at.
