I submit the personal, subjective opinion that that is either naive or dishonest. Christine, we will never have fruitful discussions if I am relentlessly forced to untangle the logical nooses you set. You say we are such a violent society and things will be So Much Better if we just exorcise firearms! I disagree. If I didn't I would forfeit my rights as a gun owner/operator. That's why I even post on the topic. The lurkers may or may not be an impressionable bunch, and it is worth reminding them that some of the things you post as ironclad established fact are more likely to be naked spin. In my ever so humble opinion.

Question One: most rapes are committed by men, using penises. In order to prevent rape, should we ban penises? Should the police confiscate them?
