The CEO of Prodigy is the former Dir. of SBC communications, and former V.P. of Telmex. The COO is former DIR. of MCI Worldcom. The CFO is head of some new wireless company.

RTev,

IBM And Sears still have stakes in Prodigy. That's
why PRGY has such a small float (8 mil.). IBM &
Sears' combined stakes (currently) are .3 Billion.
(300 million).

AOL should counter the PRGY ads by mentioning their Platinum Visa Card in their ads. Free beats $19.95 or $15.95 or $9.95 every time.
I don't think most people know about the card or the fact that you can put just about all your monthly expenses including your electric, phone, cable etc. bills on a credit card. I wonder if you could put your mortgage payment on a card? If you pay the card off every month, you're actually getting a free loan from the credit card co. that pays your bills while your $ stays in the bank earning interest during the grace period until they cash your check.
I'll bet that if the average AOL subscriber consolidated all of their monthly expenses on the AOL card it would come to $2,200 or more and they would never have to pay for AOL again.
Whadayathink?
