nord: An interesting research clip. However, if you correlate the posts on this Board re: ATM vrs NN's price, you may see an Inverse Law at work.

More ATM hype, the lower is the price by next Q.

Now that we have some data for a number of missed Q's, new Investors would be wise to establish the bounds of reality.

I view the world through my own eyes. What I see is that the net which til now had been restricted because of slow speed of data and video due to narrow band prevailing technology ie 56k max to a point where the capabilities to offer broadband bundled services voip see idtc. to video on demnad and storage of video equipment ie content being developed for broadband see vdat to the chips embedded for access to atm see lsi to the fiber see qwst iixc lvlt sdli to the sat coms vsat glst giltf iridium to the need for a backbone scalable powerful ATM. That is why I believe the forcast for broadband rollout is as inevitable as the rollout of tv was. How fast will it occur? I don't know, but for the next 10 years ATM will play a major roll in the infrastructure of broadband service. IMO NN has the best technology and the growth in market share for ATM packets is growing and NN marketshare leadership is growing and I believe that growth will accelerate. Remember we couldn't meet demand last Q? So as far as emotions moving the markets its ok with me. I see it as an opportunity because I know what I know and I place my bets accordingly. My bet is NN will be a market leader in ATM. ATM will be a multibillion dollar business. And I bet that NN and Siemens and COMS and maybe a few other I am less confident will build a synergistic relationship that will open up global markets to all involved.
Respectfully submitted. Sorry for all the typos but i wanted to say this and its Valentines and I need to be off this
