SOES doesn't work anymore in a fast market.

ISLD depends on the stock in question.

I think that if all order entry options were eliminated except for "Nasdaq Limit", traders would have a great system -- I've been told that "Nasdaq Limit" orders go into a limit order pool. I don't know if the SOES rule applies to these orders though.

Arca, SOES and SNET are old technology. Island, ECN's and other similar systems are the way of the future.
