Does anybody have Level II? I would like to see how the MM's are treating NMGC behind doors that most retail investors never get the enter.

I had a nice chat with a friend of mine who is a MM. He basically said the stuff we hear is pretty much true. He told me its a sleezy, unethical business...BUT legal!

Bill, excellent DD and analysis regarding NMGC. I also disagree with sw and I am very bullish on this company. He keeps looking for the reason of the recent price decline. I agree with the sentiments and logic from a post on Yahoo board responding to some of the content included in a research report by Morgan Stanley where they essentially downgraded NMGC from strong buy to outperform:

"This comment was very interesting in the Morgan Stanley report posted here: "We believe NeoMagic's near-term fundamentals remain solid, and we believe the stock is still inexpensive and undervalued (at $17)."

Let's see now ... what was the closing price of this stock Friday? ... $13 1/2! Looks like a classic overreaction to the word "downgrade", the stock plummets 20% on such a report in which it clearly labels the company currently "undervalued".

Common sense would tell me that the market has overreacted here and unduly punished NMGC's stock price based on the headline and not the content of the research reports. The earnings report should bolster enough confidence to get this stock back up to the $17 - $20 range and base there until NMGC can prove that they can continue to grow revenues and profits into 1999. If they can, I would look for the $30 range later this year.

Bottom line is that NMGC got beaten down to a valuation which should be considered too low and should be heading up, imo."
