>Anyone can see that Amzn has better technology than say, barnes and noble

Would you care to point out examples? Perhaps you are referring to Amazon finally admitting that their "Notable Selections" booklists are simply sold to the highest bidder? Or is it something else? Since you already have been shown to be utterly clueless when it comes to the one click "technology", I'm guessing you'll probably point to Amazon's recommendation database that points out books you might like. Too bad you can buy that technology off the shelf from several vendors. Would it surprise you that Amazon did not even write that software? It was a private label purchase from a third party vendor.

>I was a director at Oracle in ERP applications and a manager of the >Dell supply chain so yes, I know what a database is.

Directors and managers rarely have a clue as to how the underlying software or processes work. I doubt you've ever written a line of code in your life.

>Im sorry you have apparently lost the tiny fortune you had

Excuse me? I haven't lost any fortune. Are you confusing me with someone else?

>while the rest of us had 500%+ returns last year

Oops thats 199 down to 100 in just two months. How much longer will you hold onto your paper profits?

>now get lost.

Oh yes, I think I will follow the advice of a clueless Amazombie who is surprised that someone could combine a web cookie and a database.

Not.

KIS, I normally ignore you but this is too much. Anyone can see that Amzn has better
technology than say, barnes and noble (who are the closest competitors currently).

Michelle,

I believe you failed big time on this one. You make a a psot with an opinion that has no facts to back it up.

I was a director at Oracle in ERP applications and a manager of the Dell supply chain so
yes, I know what a database is.

This does not mean you know a thing about retailing. For that matter, it does not prove to me you know a lot about database design.

Im sorry you have apparently lost the tiny fortune you had on this stock while the rest of
us had 500%+ returns last year - now get lost.

Does this have any connection whatsoever to the technology of AMZN? I think not. It just shows your lack of understanding business fundamentals. You ought to be embarassed.
