Hi Jim, glad you enjoyed it. That Alan Keyes sure knows how to make a point with crystal clarity. I doubt very seriously whether liberal Democrats will have the courage to read and then think about what he wrote. It's easier to be a robot and spout the latest mainstream news spin, as if it's some profound thought, then to read and think about differing points of view. How many time have we heard this mantra...Every Republican who voted for impeachment is some crazed right wing Christian extremist hater of Bill Clinton? As if it's now extremist to want the same laws which the people live by applied to the President!

The vote reminded me of the days during the early 80's when you would see some newscaster on Soviet television spouting out propaganda so outrages it made you just stare in disbelief that the people could be so fooled. Remember the Korean airline incident. The world was stupidly wrong, until the Berlin Wall fell and the truth came tumbling out.

The way each and every Democrat voted like a Marxist political machine "not guilty" should be a real wake up call to the fact that morality and principles have been completely lost in the Democratic party. I mean C'mon not ONE person on the Democratic side thought he was guilty of perjury or obstruction of justice?? You have got to be kidding me!

No, I have to believe that those Democrats who may have wanted to vote guilty, were scared off by a political Democratic party machine operating today in the finest traditions of Marxist Leninism. The party told them how to vote, and like a bunch of nobber giving yes men and women they marched right in and became parrots of the criminal elite. What a bunch of spineless, gutless Democratic Senators! Free thinkers! Yeah, right!

I wonder what marching orders they have been given for tomorrow?

I should have highlighted this passage from Dr. Keyes article. I believe it says it all.

The fact that today this criminal element has been successfully mobilized in order to defend the criminal actions of the President will lead naturally to similar mobilizations for achieving policy and other political goals. How will the people who have, in effect, said that they don't care if Bill Clinton is a criminal because "he is doing a good job" respond when he tells them that now they must help him commit a few more crimes in order to successfully "do what we want to do" in politics? Having permitted him to remain in office despite committing crimes to satisfy his personal lust, will they deny him their support if he commits crimes to advance the liberal political agenda? Who are we kidding? If Bill Clinton's liberal colleagues are willing to tolerate his crimes that don't directly benefit the liberal cause, they will certainly tolerate such crimes that do benefit liberalism. Already we have altogether too many people in the Democrat ranks who have in effect announced that they will be like the loyal party cadre of the Communists in the Soviet Union: they will applaud whatever crimes their leaders commit in the name of their party's power and agenda.
