I like Alan Keyes, he is very smart and very articulate, and I agree with him on many things. I have seen him speak on more than one occasion, and had the honor of speaking with him once. But I believe he has let his justifiable disgust with the President's behavior cloud his judgment in the rhetoric he has chosen to use about all of those who did not support removal, and I would urge you to read the two items I posted, not too far below this, from the Washington Post, which did not support removal, but did not exactly support Clinton either.

Thanks again, Michael.

Here's an interesting item from this morning's Washington Times:

--------------------------------

Look away

Now that President Clinton has escaped impeachment, a new
poll by U.S. News & World Report shows 41 percent of those
polled say Republicans are more "principled," compared with 26
percent for Democrats.

While 40 percent say Republicans are "extremist," 41 percent
say the GOP "shares my values." And 29 percent say the
Democrats are "partisan," compared with 26 percent who say
Republicans are "partisan."

The poll also shows that 61 percent think children will have
"less respect for their country and the presidency because of the
White House scandal and impeachment trial." And 73 percent
say Mr. Clinton's acquittal shows "people looked the other way
because of the strong economy."
