Yes, certainly. Subject to all the usual supply and demand stuff--if it gets built faster than it gets used, prices and margins will drop.

Re: LSI and ASIC houses, any transition away from them is likely to be very gradual. They could end up converting themselves to something closer to the fabless-partnered-with-foundry model, for instance.
