I would avoid that association. Its not really the same. its full blown NT with only VGA. SAFE loads all real mode drivers, no network drivers, etc. Safe Mode is a far more minimalist setup than NT vga mode. Most times when I can't boot NT, I Cant boot NT VGA either. Thats when you break out the recovery diskette....
