TigerPaw, only one problem in your analysis. The Democrats lost the last election. That's why we have a Republican majority in both houses of Congress.

I wouldn't worry about Clinton campaigning in 2000. Unless it is for himself, Clinton has never lifted a finger for fellow dems. Sure, he'll raise a little money for them (as long as a golf course or good cigar is close by), but he won't exert himself. He's too selfish and lazy.
