Ron,

Its a matter of supply and demand.

At this moment the US is flooding the world with paper money which has nothing backing it,,,Of course you see this or you wouldn't be here.

Semi-Automatic weapons with the old high capacity magazines have become extremely good investments......Take some free advice....Now is a good time to invest in some form of gold.

Regards,
Eric Parde

You said >>>I just believe that the worshippers from the "Cult of Gold" are getting too much air play out here and that distracts from an objective analysis of the gold market.<<<

You also said >>>But should the CBs efforts fail sometime in the future and we're forced back onto a gold standard by a market psychology that has lost confidence in the Fiat money system, I would find myself in the gold camp as well.<<<

I have never heard anyone on this thread say they worship gold so until you can prove that statement I can only take it as an intended insult. In the one statment you insult those who beleive gold may rise in price then you say you will join them if it does, duh ?
You ticked cuz the " gold bugs " thought of it first.
You keep saying you want to see a stable and strong US. currency
IMO.I think thats what most people on this thread want, do you think that everyone on this thread wants to walk around with a gold bar in their pocket and shave off a chunk when they wish to purchase something --GROW UP-- I want to see a strong paper currency as well as you I just think that gold could help bring that about.
And no I don't want to analyse anything I've said here.
Oh yes and if the POG goes up I may be able to make some more paper currency which I hope is strong.
