Funny thing is, it's the same "live-free-or-die twits" (â„¢Bill Machrone of PC Magazine) that are crying wolf over and over again. Junkbusters and EPIC. Even the Arizona state senator who originally called for a Pentium III ban has changed his tone after Intel and many concerned citizens contacted his office.

So far, I don't see too many other organizations joining in the march. Neither can I imagine even the FTC going near this issue, unless Intel took a "Take this CPU ID or we'll crush you" attitude.
