Scott, under normal circumstances, I'd definitely short this gap open However given that I am already short per my system -- and added to the position on Friday -- I feel that from a money management stand-point, it would be best that I pass on the trade. But I do feel that there is a high probability that the gap will be closed. I may end up shorting it -- if the pieces are in place and I can use a very tight stop. BTW, for those interested in ideas for developing systems, take a look at Tom DeMark's "New Market Timing Techniques". I just got the book this weekend and it presents some original thoughts for what might go into a system. It actually builds on his previous book "The New Science of Technical Analysis"
