And what social engineering legislation would that be brees? I am not in favor of "equal pay for equal work" legislation or affirmative action. So what else is there. One area where I cross the line a little is the easing of quotas for H1-B visa workers.... I am not in favor of it. I feel that the free mkt for labor has to be US-centric. It basically is, for almost all professions - management, medicine, service workers, EXCEPT high tech labor which somehow gets excluded from the US free market and is farmed out to less-than-mkt wage laborers on the premise that if they take less than they are worth, and sell themselves to US corporations, they may gain their US citizenship.
