John L--- Latest Gallup shows 35% view Clinton positively as a person, 57% negatively. Also, the current expansion actually started in October of '92, according to revised Commerce Department figures, but somehow it was not announced until after the election. (Gee, do you think there are Democrats in the bureaucracy?)Clinton cannot claim credit for anything for at least a couple of years after, since he had no impact on policy when the cycle began to ascend. In addition, Reagan's "score" is saddled with a Carter recession the first couple of years. If those things were factored in, the imbalance in their records would be greater.
