Speaking for myself, I see a difference in 1) the type of post that starts out with five asterisks and ends with eleven exclamation points with little or worse yet misleading info in between and 2) measured alerts to stocks with some potential which include some reasons why. I think the one you posted by WJ falls into the second category. However, one should always get second opinions (starting with your own opinion). One can NEVER be sure about such things as "gap ups" but it helps to be given a few candidates. The real problem is when a legitimately promising pick is given a cheap hype job. This is discrediting and tends to lump the stock in question with the outright scams. The most valuable posts are ones that give some reasonable entry and exit points that stand up to a bit of scrutiny.

Obviously you need to read between the lines, and don't understand my meaning when I put words in quotes, in a t & cheek way.
Another thing, I would never post something that was sure to file b/k.
And, if you can't make money following even a few of mine and Rande's picks, well, quit and get a day job...............ROMT under 2.50, as just one example......

FYI, you can read about the Golden books pump job in the WSJ today, sec C-1, page 1.
