Mike,

The big news on the market is this is a market bubble wholly outside our historic experience, the likes of which a major market would see once every couple of centuries.

Just like the big news with the Clinton administration is a level of venality, corruption and criminality that is also, wholly outside of our historic experience.

Both are huge stories. Both are obvious, well known by anyone who's willing to do even a modicum of homework, and screaming to be told.

CNBC, NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS ... nada.

For sure the economic story is going to be the one all the history books will be written about. And the deliberate blindness of those folks entrusted with the public weal will not play well.

Clinton? I don't know. I hope this administration is just a bad dream from which we'll awake ... replaced by either a Democrat or Republican administration with integrity and honor - for the long term health of our polity, it doesn't matter which. I hope, but sometimes fear not.

There's really not much more to say than this. The facts are indisputable. It's surreal we won't admit them. <ng>

Peter
