Dr. Meade: I have known J Nelson through this thread for a long time. What I see from his posts is pure frustration. I don't particularly like his negative tones but he is not distorting, lying or bashing. I guess, like beauty is to the eyes of the beholder then so, bashing must be to the ears. I have disagreed with Jim on several occasions, especially his neg side of late. and ... Yes, Dr. to your dismay, many promises have been made and few have come through. I would not catagorize someone who asks critical questions, even with a negative twist as being a basher. His questions are legitimate and no one has attempted to find an answer. You say that you have called many times to NPEC and IR ...why is it that you have not asked the questions that JN puts forth about SEC filing and audited financials. The 10m shares JN asks about represents 10% of this company. As a responsible stockholder is it not incumbent upon you, me and others to ask those questions and find out about that stock and how/why it was issued or if it was actually issued. The next time I have an opportunity to ask...I will! To differ with you on one point...I would not catagorize DD as that research that is done talking to the Pres, the IR man or the telecom office. Due Diligence is finding facts and information from independent sources and/or SEC filings to confirm what the company states then applying that info a to good investment strategy. From the beginning there were two individuals who stood out in shared DD...Jery Keba and ...Jim Nelson. Don't believe it ...go back to the original thread in 1 st half of 1997. I do agree with you on a couple points regarding the Telecom Opns. I think that this is the one shining star in the Company's varied enterprises that could really do something for shareholder value. Your tenacity in trying to drive that point home is to your credit. The silver mine will also ad substantially to shareholder value when that gets on line with REAL production. There are other pieces of good information that I have "heard" along the way...but until I have convinced myself with outside verification I will not venture any comment...I'm not a hypster. I believe that this company is finally going to make it. Remember all; the Mgmt team now in place brought this company back from bankruptcy 3 to 5 years ago. Telecom and tailing piles and sell off to MDIN have been what has kept this thing afloat and allowed for telecom acquisitions to take place. So considering where this company has been I have to say, "Be patient, hard as it may seem, I believe this company will prove to be a money maker for us all." Respectfully submitted, J. Williams ps sorry for being so long winded.
