Other goings on... It looks like Permidia3 is only now sampling. Fillrate looks to be 125 MP but at full speed for multitexturing (250 MT). ATI dumped big today. Some people are saying its in sympathy with Dell. The real story is they are having serious problems with the 128 and may have to go back to the drawing board. The thing is just too damn hot. I guess ATI must have just had meeting to break it to the big boys. I wonder when we'll see the press release? I can't tell you how important this is to 3dfx. ATI with a real next-generation part makes for an easy "rollover" from the Rage Pro. If we don't see the 128 until Rampage...cool. Monday, Voodoo3 starts shipping and STBI comes out with earnings. Pat
