it seems a little odd to me that for the last month several dell cheerleaders were doing there thing here on the compaq thread...now that this company is dealing with their size in a manner that all large companies live with, they are no where to be found....I would have liked to think they may have come over here to apologize.....if not maybe they will come here with their money and buy the real winner/value company in IT ..I haven't been able to connect to a server over at broadcast.com to hear the call....wonder if msft sabotaged them intentionally to keep the bad news out....they will probably try to get in tighter with dell, now that cpq is beginning to encroach on their turf....anyone here see cpq strengthening their ties to the sunw/aol/nscp/camp or am I way off base

Steve: re: "phantom sales" at Bay Networks. Do I ever remember them. Of all the snippets I picked up from the DELL cc, that complaint by MD that the revenue shortfall was the result of a late sale struck me as being the most lame.
