kash, Intel not using logic on id chips. the reason Intel states for wanting to put the id in the chips is so if your box is stolen it shuts down. Why would Intel care about this issue. Insurance already covers it and if stolen intel gets an order for another chip. so how doumb is that. Intel is not comming clean on this issue. Intel msut have an alterior motive for it's use. otherwise they would have discarded and difused the issue by now and jettison the headach.
